Esta web no instala cookies de analítica, de publicidad ni de redes sociales. Ninguna. Puedes comprobarlo tú mismo abriendo las herramientas de desarrollador de tu navegador.
Por eso no verás un banner de cookies: no hay nada que consentir. Si algún día eso cambia, verás el banner antes de que se instale nada.
Un archivo diminuto que una web guarda en tu navegador para recordar algo. Puede ser útil, como recordar que ya has iniciado sesión, o puede servir para seguirte por internet. Aquí solo existen las del primer tipo, y solo si haces algo que las requiera.
Al entrar y leer un artículo, ninguna. El navegador no recibe ni una sola cookie. Solo aparecen en dos situaciones concretas:

Todas son cookies propias y técnicas. Conforme al artículo 22.2 de la Ley 34/2002 y al artículo 5.3 de la Directiva 2002/58/CE, las cookies estrictamente necesarias para prestar un servicio que el usuario ha solicitado expresamente están exentas de consentimiento previo.
Cookies de terceros
No hay. La web no carga ningún script externo: ni Google, ni Meta, ni YouTube incrustado, ni botones de redes sociales, ni tipografías remotas.
La única conexión a un tercero se produce en la zona de comentarios, donde las imágenes de perfil se solicitan a Gravatar. Eso transmite tu dirección IP a ese servicio para poder entregar la imagen, igual que ocurriría al cargar cualquier imagen alojada fuera. Está explicado en la política de privacidad.
Enlaces que salen de esta web
Cuando pulsas un enlace hacia otra web, incluidos los enlaces de afiliación, quien decide qué cookies te instala es esa otra web, no esta. Cada una tiene su propia política y te pedirá su propio consentimiento. Lo contamos en detalle en la página de transparencia.
Puedes hacerlo desde la configuración de tu navegador, aunque aquí no haga falta:
- Chrome: Configuración, Privacidad y seguridad, Cookies y otros datos de sitios.
- Safari: Ajustes, Privacidad.
- Firefox: Ajustes, Privacidad y seguridad.
- Edge: Configuración, Cookies y permisos del sitio.
Si bloqueas todas las cookies, esta web sigue funcionando con normalidad. Lo único que perderás es que el formulario de comentarios recuerde tu nombre.
Si esto cambia
El día que se añada cualquier herramienta de medición o publicidad, aparecerá un banner de consentimiento previo, con rechazo tan fácil como la aceptación, y nada se cargará hasta que decidas. Actualizaremos esta página con la fecha y la versión antes de activarlo.

That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes, you will see the banner before anything is set.
A tiny file a website stores in your browser to remember something. It can be useful, like remembering you are logged in, or it can be used to follow you around the internet. Only the first kind exists here, and only if you do something that requires it.
When you arrive and read an article, none. Your browser receives not a single cookie. They appear in two specific situations only:

All of them are first-party and strictly technical. Under Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, cookies strictly necessary to provide a service the user has expressly requested are exempt from prior consent.
There are none. The site loads no external scripts: no Google, no Meta, no embedded YouTube, no social buttons, no remote fonts.
The only third-party connection happens in the comments area, where profile pictures are requested from Gravatar. That passes your IP address to the service so it can deliver the image, exactly as loading any externally hosted image would. It is explained in the privacy policy.
Links that leave this site
When you click through to another website, affiliate links included, it is that site and not this one that decides which cookies to set. Each has its own policy and will ask for its own consent. We set this out in detail on the transparency page.

If you block every cookie, this site still works normally. The only thing you lose is the comment form remembering your name.

The day any measurement or advertising tool is added, a prior consent banner will appear, with refusing as easy as accepting, and nothing will load until you decide. We will update this page with the date and version before switching it on.
