Two places · Seville · December or January
A plot in Sumba, two days building with me, and a share of everything we launch from it.
I am Carlos de Ory. I founded Eco Beach City, a town on the coast of Sumba with 762 owners from more than 40 countries. I am opening two places to build the next companies with me.

Why this is not a course
On ecobeachcity.com there is a list of projects open to partners. One of them is called, in those words, venture builder and founder residency. It says what already exists and what is missing. What is missing is the person who designs it and gets it running.
So we are not going to sit and talk about how a venture builder works. We are going to design mine, with you inside it, and you leave Seville having decided things that then get built.
Where this is going
The plan is to launch 100 projects a year out of Eco Beach City. That is not a figure of speech. A town of 762 owners from 40 countries needs almost everything, and every one of those needs is a company nobody has built yet.
The restaurant on the beach. The bookings engine. The island logistics. The film studio. The AI lab. The design workshop with the ikat weavers. Five of those are already published on the site, waiting for someone to run them.
Your percentage is not of one of them. It is of the vehicle they all come out of.
What already exists in Sumba
Eco Beach City is on the coast of Sumba, an hour from Bali by plane. It is not a rendering. You could go and sleep there this week.
- Open today: beachfront coworking with fast internet, padel court, tennis court, solar power, water systems, and guests staying there.
- Under construction: the restaurant on the beach.
- On paper: a company registered in Indonesia with its tax number and its notary. Ownership is an 80-year renewable leasehold, the standard route for foreigners.
The two days
Day 1 · Build
10:30 to 17:00, with a break for lunch
- From nothing to a live site before lunch. Domain, deploy, AI writing the code while you decide what it does. Without knowing how to program.
- Agents and bots that do real work: one answering on WhatsApp, one catching leads into your CRM, one making phone calls. Built in front of you.
- Getting data nobody hands you. What can be scraped, what is not worth touching, how not to get blocked.
Day 2 · Traffic, money and the venture builder
10:30 to 17:00, with a break for lunch
- SEO with 1,278 articles’ worth of scars. What ranks now, what stopped working, and what is false about AI content.
- Google and Meta ads without burning the budget. Real accounts open on the table.
- Affiliate marketing that actually pays. I have lived off it since 2013.
- The whole afternoon: we design the Eco Beach City venture builder. Which companies launch first, how a founder gets in, how equity splits, what the first cohort looks like. Shareholders’ agreement on the table. You pick which one we start with.
What you take home
- Your project running, with a domain, deployed.
- At least one agent or automation of your own, live.
- Your signed percentage of the venture builder.
- My real templates and flows, exported. Not screenshots.
- My phone number, for the three months after.
Who you are dealing with
I have written 1,278 travel articles. I have lived off an affiliate business for over a decade. I am building a town on an Indonesian island with 762 people in it. And in my spare time I made SupportNear, a map of 37,307 places in 147 countries where you can eat, sleep and shower for free.
You are not booking a trainer. You are spending two days with the person who signs the founder’s letter of that place.
The small print, in large type
I would rather lose you here than disappoint you later.
- This is not an investment product or a security. I promise you no return, no rental income, no appreciation, no dividend.
- The percentage can be worth zero. The venture builder bills nothing yet. Most new things do not make it.
- 100 projects a year is the plan, not a promise. It is what I am aiming at. Nobody can guarantee it, me included.
- The plot is land, not a house. Building costs money on top, and you decide when.
- Sumba is far and things are missing. I wrote it without makeup in this comparison with Bali.
- There are things written about me online. Do not stop at the headline. Read the founder’s letter and ask me whatever you want.
- Travel and hotel in Seville are on you. The two days, the materials and the food are on me.
The two dates
- 28 and 29 December 2026 · Seville · 10:30 to 17:00
- 2 and 3 January 2027 · Seville · 10:30 to 17:00
You pick one on the call. The course is taught in Spanish.

Qué te llevas a casa
He escrito 1.278 artículos de viajes.
